playing 1st set amp goes out,no lights nothing, fuse blown, purchased 11/7/2015..please send info on what to do.Played this club before, with this amp and others so it's a little baffling

Did you try a new fuse or just the assume the old one was good because it didn't look blown?

both good points,I did read in the manual it states carry fuses and tubes when giging, checked 4A and 2A fuses with mm,4A is dead, didn't have a spare and it looked ok but it was a club,so it's dark, not sure how bad the tube would be to shut the amp down, maybe that's a safe measure to reduce damage.

Try some known good fuses. I've had the fast blow type be blown but could not tell as the filament is so small it is hard to see if you are old lol!

I'd be pretty certain it's a bad fuse but it might have blown due to a bad power tube.

It really is very important to familiarize yourself with fuses and tubes when investing $$$ on a quality amp. More often then not, most amp problems are tube related or user error. Fuses protect the amp from damage. You will save yourself a lot of agony and stress understanding basic tube amp maintenance.

Wow, that is a real bummer! Hope it works out ok for you!!!

This
Mine had a tube/fuse issue. Talked to Dave, fixed right up. EXCELLENT customer service.
Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater...tubes are tubes and have inherent challenges. Replace them AND the fuses...then see.

Also, talk to Dave. He's on the board here. If you are the original owner, you have warranty and he's a great guy.

ok gents I sincerely appreciate the input,I will admit I thought I had decent experience being a 6string hack, lol,to be honest never have I thought to carry spare fuses, turns out that was the problem,I contacted D Friedman,he is without question the amp builder of the decade,he has been most responsive, informative and supplying sound advice and as much help as anyone could ask for,and not to mention on a Sunday no doubt.Has advised me to install some new tubes and will do without a seconds hesitation, lesson learned. For the mention of familiarize myself with basic tube amp operation" good advice,I thought I was somewhat familiar knowing when and how to bias and possibility of microphonic pre amp tubes, nice to know support of this type exist.Kudos to all and happy hunting. Thanks again everyone

and for the slow learner(me included) it says in the Be100 manual to carry spare fuses and tubes when giging.I don't know what's worse me not reading and fabricating a phrase such as "yes I know but I just forgot" or actually not reading it,which is me.

+1 on this,he always comes thru, makes me want another Friedman,

I am sure Dave would have appreciated an email or a phone call rather than air your ignorance on a public forum.
