BE100 & RJM Switch Gizmo

Waiting on a BE100 once they're in stock at sweetwater but picked up an RJM Switch Gizmo for a good price on Reverb. Does anyone have any experience with this and changing channels on the BE? I'm hoping to be able to access the clean, BE and HBE from my midi/fx board but not sure how it should be set up. I'm able to get the RJM to change just using the midi now but wondering how to get the BE in line to use the 2 channels and boost function...thanks!
 
You need the right cable from the Rjm. It's a trs end that goes into the BE. Tip toggles between clean and dirty and when on dirty the ring adds the HBE stage. Hope that helps

Update:

RJM said the BE100's footswitch cable that comes with the amp will work and no special cable is needed?
 
Yeah, I using an OLD Rockman Midi Octopus with my BE 100, no problems at all.
 
Grab an FX8. You'll have all your switching and effects in one place.

How many humbuster cables did you need?
I'm assuming effects in front and in loop as well as switching channels, correct??

You'll need 2 humbuster cables which you can easily make yourself. Yes, effects in the front and loop both along with channel switching. There's a blues OD in the FX8 that just kills on the BE's clean channel to give a slightly overdriven, uncompressed channel making the BE a 4 channel amp. :rock:

I'll check out the OD.

I've been using my Ultra as effects only in the loop of the BE100.
It works well for that. Just nothing in front of the amp.
Actually I recently picked up an FX8, haven't even unboxed it yet, LOL.
 
Would love an FX8 but way out of my price range right now after buying the BE.

If I didn't already buy an RJM switcher for $50, I would!
