I used my Kramer Ad Franky replica for that...

It has an EVH Frankenstein pickup which I think are just amazing...and not because I'm an Edhead.

The tone is coming from a Soldano SLO model from my Line 6 pod app. I can barely use Garage Band and that app seems to work well with the very little I know about getting Garage Band. All that stuff is on my Ipad...it seems to work ok

I`ve been on the fence about the Frankenstein pickup only because it`s not tremspaced . I know I`ll most likely not hear any difference in tone but the poles not lining up with the strings will drive me nuts LOL

I can't play that well but I would consider playing just behind the beat a bit to put more of that EVH swing into it and maybe dial the effects back just a bit but hell - like I said, I can't play that well.

I know what you mean sir! That song has such a swing to it that is soooo hard to duplicate! And i DO tend to gravitate to a bit more verb than necessary
