My eyes were welled up almost the entire time. I never got a chance to see Led Zeppelin growing up so this is as close as it gets. Sure, Song Remains the Same has some excellent concert footage but the movie "Becoming Led Zeppelin" was on another level. The audio and video clarity is amazing. I'm sure there was some AI in there to piece things together but totally worth it. IMAX is the way too of course. The first half of this 2 hour movie is mostly the history behind each band member. Who their influences were, what growing up as a child was like, etc. Then how they met. Then how they played the last Yardbirds show under contract. Then of course how things blew up in America. The quality was so good it was like you were sitting next to John Bonham on stage. Very up close and person. Highly recommend.
Oh for sure. This was an authorized autobiography if you will. Completely safe for kids and the elderly. There might have been 1 F bomb and some hot chicks dancing but it was all business. I was actually pleased with that part. That and the movie only covers the history, background, etc leading up to LZ II. I've read most of the books on LZ so familiar with all the stories on drugs, young girlfriends, fish, and the cult
