Holy shit all of them sound incredible but I am pretty sure I will also never be able to afford one.

I like this guitar as well as the D-28 style, the D style just explodes.

Man everything he plays sounds great. The true test is one of us scrubs playing it, if it still sings under all the garbage, it's a keeper!

Sounds great...10K ???? Not exactly a guitar for the masses to play. But his stuff never has been. Top notch builder and tone for sure.

you need five of those boats to trade for one

and win the Caddy Tournament..................

The price is a shocker only because guitars typically don't run that much, but symphony instrument regularly are in that range. You have to consider a truly great acoustic guitar to be more like a professional level violin or cello than your average Martin.

10k!!!!! WTF How can anyone justify that price? Does it come with magic beans too?

Yes it sounds great but come on not that great.

Do bar chords feel funny on a fanned neck?

Hi guys

Yes the prices are not for the faint of heart! But consider that these builders are using materials like all old growth Brazilian rosewood backs and sides (super rare) and these people make guitars by hand one at a time- maybe a few a year. The craftsmanship is incredible, and really on par with top shelf symphony type instruments, as another poster stated. Put it this way- I have a nice Gibson J180 here, retails for a few grand, really cool guitar. I'll never be able to look at it quite the same now. These guitars make it seem like a budget import guitar. I'm spoiled now, haha! Unfortunately, like most of us, these are way out of my reach too.

The Wingert and the Bari were my faves. The tone of both- oh my god.

The fanned frets are not hard to play at all

Damn... that is one bad ass sounding baritone acoustic!!! If I had 10K to throw down, I would almost be tempted to try one and then buy it!

Seriously... is there any other baritone acoustic builders out there that make more affordable build price ranges than this? I am EXTREMLY interested in purchasing a baritone acoustic now... THANKS PETE, your killin my wallet here! Nice playing on those tracks by the way!

You have gotta seriously love the baritone to drop 10k.

Having said that, if THAT is your gig, and that is what you are known for, then it's not so crazy. An acoustic guitar performer doesn't really have any possibility to change much of their tone, so the guitar has to be something incredible.

As mentioned before, some classical cats pay way more. They even have investors who own the instruments they use for big performances. But they are the +$1m violins and stuff...

I heard Brazilian Rosewood is illegal now. It cannot be transported (even on instruments) internationally. I really don't know the details at all but you know some poor dude is gonna loose a sweet guitar to some government over this one. Now what do I do with all this Ivory and tortoiseshell? :D

It will be a sad day when we have to meet a wiseguy in some back alley, to buy a slab of Brazillian Rosewood.
