I know all amps have there issues eventually, just wondering if this one seems to have more or less than other brands.
I am going to be spending a lot of cash and just want to make sure they don't break often.

Um, no. They're exceptionally reliable - but they do require knowledgeable biasing and care.

Look through the threads man. Peter Diezel himself supports them even after they hit the used market. You can't beat that. He'll point you in the right direction to get 'er all fixed up.

That said. Diezels are some of the most reliable amps I've ever encountered. These things are built like tanks. You ever seen the inside of one? I'm pretty sure most military components aren't built to that quality. Tubes will be the issue most of the time if your amp acts funny. Sure, on occasion some amps break down. Its just how things work, but I can honestly say I'd trust no other amp on the road more than a Diezel.

+1000

Most problems (and they are few given the quantity of Diezel amps out there) are mostly cause by human error or tubes which Diezel does not make.

i have a few thousand shows plus rehearsals, studio time & other gigs on mine. zero issues!!!! its like a hot rod...if you tune her up when needed you are golden!!
