Dear peeps,
- I would really love to buy a drumcomputer that let's me shape / create an hard and/or deep base for kicks easily.
- That has proper sounding hi-hats, conga's, clava's, claps, etc.
- That can be used directly, on the fly and intuitively to create rythems (without having to mess around on the PC first...)
- That has 2 applicable kicks OR where multiple, different sounding, kicks can be combined on the same tic!
- That allows much creativity, but I 'don't need to go into space...', high in the clouds is enough...
- I want to create kickz like those in agrotech... For example:
- But also Kickz that go long and deep as with Rap music... For example:
- Or a nice combo of both!
- That can work as an controller for future possibilities
- Many possible connections
- 2nd hand is good
- between 200 and 300 euro's / dollars
I've read about the Volca and others, but these 2 have my favor!
Pro's and con's
+ RD-9 has a ridiculous amount of connectable options!
+ Rd-9 has proper sounding claps
+ RD-9 is an know, well established peace, because it's an 'enhanced' copy of the Tr-drummachines
- Has only one kick?
+ But more appreciable functions for the kick
Arturia drumbrute:
+ Double kick
+ Allows unquantized beats ( )
+ Better buttons
- Least applicable functions for the kick
- Clap-sound sounds like shit....
- Not convinced about the conga's
- Least connections
- I hate it when they do things like Switching Mix automatically off when connecting as soon as connecting another option....
o I already have Boss RV-500
o I already have 2 Boss Metalzone Mt-2 peddals (best buy ever!)
o Behringer RD-9 or Arturia Drumbrute (NOT the impact version)?!
o Which the hell to choose (AhhAHHAARRRgggg!)?!
Greetings,
Novardi
