Actually, the best 3 piece right now would be the Winery Dogs.

Agree, but the blues influenced singing just turn me off. His 80's guitar instructional videos was amazing. I stop following him when he started to play more blues stuff than heavy metal.

I might go with Glen Hughes band on that level.

But they can't touch ZZ Top or Rush.

If we're not categorizing/selecting based on music styles:

RUSH

This year. Every year...

Thank you, exactly what I was going to say. May as well add Jimi's experience while we're at it.
Although he did say right now. A huge Hendrix fan sorry.

Kinda has the "Roadhouse Blues" riff at 1:10.
Listen to "the Handler" off their new album. Song has some really cool bass work!

"Best 3 Piece Rock Band in the World Right Now"

Jimi is dead, Bro...

Always been a fan of muse, but after the fourth album the music went downwards

Muse hands down.

I'm in a cover band that is a 3 piece, so I naturally didnt mention that (since its the obvious choice)

As long as they still together they will always the THE 3 piece band.

Exactly...

Muse is only three guys? Pretty impressive how massive their live sound is. I don't think Winery Dogs would make the top of my list either.

Lazer/Wulf

...more metal than rock and it is mostly instrumental.
