Looking for a lush sweet sounding chorus, hopefully with a small footprint......any thoughts?

I had the Voodoo and didn't really like it. The Boss CH-1 is good and used by many through out the 80-90's I have one again and it sounds the same as my Ibanez UE405

I picked up a digitech hardwire chorus recently and I've been impressed. No tone suck. Love it on the Jazz setting.

+1 . I've had one for a couple of years now and love it.. I also use the jazz setting.
I love that the hardwire pedals have a rubber cover that cap the knobs so nothing moves when I'm transporting my pedal board.
I wish all pedals had something like this.

+1 on the Retrosonic, plus it has Vibe as well. Not the smallest or the cheapest but the best I ever heard for that sweet original Chorus sound. I think they are out of production though, I have two for that reason is they have the same chips that the boss/roland originals had in them. Good luck

+1 for me as well! I picked up one of these and love it! Lots of options and they all sound great. I don't think you'll be disappointed....especially given the price point as well. You don't have to spend a ton of money on something you make not ultimately like. Give it a shot!

I had the hardwire for the longest time but now prefer the neunabar stereo chroma chorus so the hardwire is on my backup board. All the hardwire pedals are great.

I picked up an MXR Zakk Chorus recently and have had some great luck with that. It's analog, so it's got a nice warmth to it. It's pretty dark sounding at the same time. Moderately darker than the Analog Chorus model so that's something to keep in mind. The only thing you'd wanna watch with that pedal is if you have it on with a distorted tone and you play Hard Rock, you might run the risk of having somewhat of a cliche sound considering how many people have tried to copy Zakk's tone over the years. I crank the highs on it more and ease off the bass to counteract that... It's still dark but a little chimier in a way if that makes any sense.
