I am doing a study on amps made in every country, and I am now looking for amps or guitars that were made in France. Can anyone shed any light on anything that they know so I can further research it?

For guitar there’s Vigier. All the ones I’ve tried played nicely, but sounded flat/not alive. Probably others out there that I don’t know about. Lotta great French classical guitar luthiers. Don’t know of any amps made there. For pedals there’s VL
I’ve been pretty deep into all the various rabbit holes in gear and from my experience, fwiw, the countries that to me have made all the very best sounding stuff has been just the US, UK, Germany, Canada (Wizard amps) and Australia (MI Audio). There’s certainly also been great amps or guitars I’ve had from Italy and Japan, but in my mind they’d be 2nd tier to the best stuff imo. If it were classical guitars, the list would be the same countries, but would add Spain, Italy and France and remove Canada
