I'm surprised nobody mentioned the Put 'em in jail or Put 'em in the ground comment. Normally all the anti-Trumpsters would be freaking out about something like that.

It's so played out at this point that it's become just an eye roll. Seeing another rootin tootin jesus lovin politician today is how I imagine people felt when a new hair band came out in 1992.

It's no big deal. We've gotten used to Republicans saying what used to be the quiet parts out loud now. He'll probably win. It might surprise you since I'm a Dem that I agree with him on the death penalty for drug dealers (depending on the type and amount sold. I don't think someone selling an ounce of pot deserves to die, but if you sell Fentanyl, BYE BYE ASSHOLE) and human traffickers. My wife and kids are Dems and we all feel the same way. A lot of us lefties do. My eldest daughter has been active in the fight against child trafficking for over a decade. I am so proud that she's my kid.

I'm uncomfortable executing drug dealers. Besides they get appeal appeal appeal appeal for years before it's carried out. Just give them 20 years.

I generally agree. But more taxes are required to execute them than to just keep them jailed. Also, are you going to punish the petty street dealers that way along with the interstate traffickers of real weight?

How about guys that sell small amounts of fentanyl. Maybe between jobs just trying to make a little extra cash. Should we execute them as well since it only takes a small amount to kill someone?

I was a meth head for a couple of years in my 20's. I got cleaned up and since then life has been great, but I still shudder with regrets about the meth period of my life when I look back on it.
