What is the best guitar cable for the money ?
I've been using some 15-20' planet waves for years now but I'd like to buy a longer one so I'm not sure if it worth spending 240$ on a 40' Mogami Platinum ?

Do you have skills with a soldering iron?

If so, build your own! Canare GS-6 cable with Neutrik ends is UNSTOPPABLE in my opinion. It's a great sounding, wide bandwidth cable that is incredibly inexpensive if you build it yourself.

Vovox is pretty top-drawer and what I've got... But man, it ain't cheap.

Heard good things about the in-house Lavacable brand, "Lava Soar" I think it is??

I think the Digiflexcables are pretty cheap and use Canare GS-6 cable with Neutrik ends

Studioflex studio quality cables for the most demanding musician. Canare GS-6 cable is considered the finest in the industry. It has a braided shield and a conductive plastic shield to eliminate handling noise. The center conductor is 18 AWG finely stranded copper for minimal signal loss on long cables. The CPP silent cable uses the silent connector at one end that allows you to plug your cable live with no loud pops or noises. The CGP series has a right angle connector at one end. Several colours are available but may be subject to minimums.

Would they be better then my gold ended planet waves?

The vovox are definitely very expensive
But that Lava Soar seems to be very nice
around 112$ for a 30'

I'll try to find some reviews on those.

Do yourself a favor and buy an Alesandro Instrumet two. You get 25% off at checkout I believe. Very thin flexible cable that sounds excellent. I have not looked back and I have a Lyric and Lava and a couple of others.

Greg, where are you getting your Canare wire from, Redco?

THIS!!!! I don't use the Canare stuff but I like the Mogami cable. Either way, making your own with the Neutrik ends is the way to go.

Evidence Reveal, especially if you're going over 20' in length.

After some researches
I think I'll give a try to the Digiflex CPP-25 (made with CANARE-GS-6 and Neutrik ends)
sold for 48$ 25' lenght

No soldering to do and good quality

Cheapest decent guitar cable I used my ryth guy bought from Monoprice. Decent, noise free, but man that's a beefed up cable. I think it was about $7
