Best Marshall for Dave Friedman Kitchen Sink Mod?

Hey,

I was wondering which Marshall's sound best
with Dave Friedman Kitchen Sink Mod?

There are a few Marshall's for sale in my local
area but I am not sure which models will
sound the best?

Any ideas?

I would just buy a Marsha, the Marsha I had was awesome, killer amp, the JCM800 Kitchen Sink I had was really noisy and just sound eh so so.

You're gonna get noise on the HBE no matter what amp. Just nature of the beast.

Here's what Dave said a while back

The best 72 or before good 78 to 80 jmp 100's or old jcm 800's or Slp reissues or 800 reissues. If you really want the best get a Marsha or a 72 or earlier. Anything else can be very good but not all the way. Dave

A 70's JMP should be a safe bet

As for the KS mod being noisy, I don't really find mine to have more noise than most other amps out there.
