Since when do you have to baby a Marshall JMP? They're road warriors.

JMP's are what alot of the newer amp builder's and modders seem to like to use as their model / platform. Because they sound awesome, and there are still enough of them around, because they have withstood years on the road.

If you want a JMP, get the real deal. If you want a newer amp that uses the basics of a JMP, and then has a few updates, then go with a different company.

+1 We're talking about a $900 amp here, no need to baby it. Also, how are you going to get a JMP clone that is more versatile? Wouldn't be just like a JMP?

Interesting thread. Asking similar question.

Played a Germino Clubman. JTM based. 2000$.

The real amp, given some love from an amp tech seems reasonable.

most real jmp's have been gone over and had caps replaced, etc... my '77 has been completely gone thru, looks like hell, and will survive way more gigs than i will.
