I had a patch cable on my pedalboard go out. I'm so sick of George Ls and other shitty cables going bad, so I invested in some good cables from Best Tronics Pro Audio. I've been gigging since 1993 and have always used whatever cables I had or worked. I had a custom snake made that goes from my HX Effects to my amp. It has 3 killer quality cables and a power cable. I also sent them measurements of my patch cables and they made me custom cables for my board too. I was blown away by the difference in my sound!! Everything was so much crisper and clear, and quieter. Also, their square plugs have flat heads and take up such little room and you can put pedals real close together. I was so impressed that I called the next day and ordered a speaker cable as well as cables for my practice amps, etc. I would highly recommend investing in good cables if you haven't already, and BTPA is such an awesome company that makes top-notch stuff. I'm just sorry I didn't do this much sooner.
