sounds good! What kind of mod did Brian do on your amp?
Thanks. No idea on the mod - I bought it used as is.

very cool! the Bass guitar sounds huge too
It's just midi bass played from my Roland JV-1010, but I did double the bass with the rythm guitars.

Does the JCA22 have a depth knob on the back? If so it might be his double duce....I've recently been in contact with him and am thinking of sending mine to him for a mod.

Sounds wicked by the way!!

This was a one off Brain did (at least I think this is the amp) below is what he posted on facebook. After emailing him, I'm pretty sure this is the only one that will be made. He said A LOT of work went into this one. I think Pete scored a pretty nice amp here.

Is this the amp, Pete? It looks like the one.

"I just got done working over a Bogner XTC...I decided to mod this 22H to make it like the modded version of it's big brother...It is NOT a copy of a production XTC. It has similar switches...Structure, Boost, Excursion plus a gain voicing on the OD channel and a Frequency shift on the presence. I just put in new tubes yesterday and what a great sounding amp. This is just a one-off that is now for sale. Email me for details." BFG Amplification facebook page

I don't think it has a depth knob on the back...I'll have to check when I get home. It does have a Loose/Tight/Middle switch though. The "tight" setting is very dark, but you can flip up the "q" switch and it adds upper mids. It has gain boost switch. It has a structure switch too, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Maybe it affects the clean side which I haven't even turned on yet.  I really haven't fucked around with it much...I just got a tone I liked and tried to record it.

Man, I missed it. Good score, Pete. I tried to buy this off Brian when he posted it on facebook, but I was too late as it sold quickly.

By the way, nice clips. Sounds great!

Thanks. This is a cool little amp. I'm not saying it's going to replace my Voodoo/DSL as my #1, but I don't see me flipping it like I so often do.

BTW - FWIW I like this better than the xtc I had. This is way less spongy.

Nice score brother!!

I think you should do a clip tracking the DSL and the 22 together. :D

Yeah, very nice score. That one was on TGP for sale too and didn't last long.

I'd love to hear you record a clip going through the switches.
