BG Smoke Stacks

Any of you guys use the BG Smoke Stacks? Or how about any BG pickups? I'm looking for an open, articulate pickup with a "complex", harmonically rich sound to go into my LP style guitar I'm building. I'd like to get a 2nd Degree Black Belt, but I don't want to shell out the $260

I haven't used the Smoke Stacks, but do have a Hellabucker in a LP copy and it's a great pickup, IMHO. Bryan is a good cat too, I bet if you email him with what you're looking for he would be willing to help out.

If you do shell out the dough you wont be disappointed!

All of wades pickups are worth the dough IMO. I was hesitant before I bought my first set of pickups but after playing them I realized it was money well spent.

To be clear: Bryan runs BG Pickups. Wade runs Motor City. Both guys know their craft and are good to deal with.

Sorry, I was referencing the fact that the OP was talking about BG pickups and Bryan Gunsher, not Wade. But I see he mentioned the 2nd Degree BB at the end.
