I've been listening to entirely too much Nuno lately... So I decided to pick up a BL L500XL to throw in my alder mutt. Here are the results...

Thanks man! For the most part its channel 3, but there is some channel 2 in there for spice. As I've gotten used to the amp, channel 2 has really grown on me. Ditching the JJ power tubes really helped with channel 2 as well.

Great chops on a great piece of gear as well.

Thats my project for tomorrow. If everything checks out the L500XL is going buy buy... If I can get it to sound the the OP's vid it's staying and I'll bethe N4 at our next show...

Th C5 is warmer than the L500XL. The L500XL has sort of a single-coil feel to it when you're playing. It doesn't really come through on the clip, but it's more in the feel. I think some of it has to do with how articulate the pickup is. When A/Bing between this guitar and my 59 loaded Les Paul, this pickup has the same high end presence- which makes switching between the two guitars easier, as you don't need to reach for the tone knobs on the amp. The C5 has a bigger bottom end to it, which could get a bit muddy if you weren't careful. The L500XL has plenty of bottom end, but it is MUCH tighter. Overall, I'm really liking it. It pairs extremely well with the P90.
