Well haven't heard back about billy howerdel yet, but I got a private invite last night to audition for avril's band tonight so my last audtions must've made a good impression

How'd the audition work? Did they give you a list and tell you which parts they wanted, or did they pull the route of giving a ton of songs and just throw random stuff at you?

Well I think I nailed it There were only like 8 other guys there auditioning, and you couldn't really hear exactly how they did through the wall but a couple had to stop midsong so that's not good. Played teh skater boi with their rhy guitarist and drummer while their keyboard player and manager watched. Guys in band were honestly really cool guys, esp given these guys only play to *big* crowds, haha. It is tough w/o any vocals to play the arrangement in a way, but I knew that was what was gonna happen given avril wasn't going to be there so I was fine with it. Who knows with these things, but I don't think I could've played it much better, really.
