Aftermath calibrated set, both bridge & neck and Both coils have screws n both sides...

I had this problem before and forgot what I did.... lol

Traditionally the screw coil goes nearest the bridge and nearest the neck respectively,

The documentation kind of of sucks and the wiring diagrams do not account for both coils having screws, etc.

Mostly concerned about the neck pickup on which side to have the wire coming out of?

Using an LP-type guitar as an example, the pickup would be oriented such that the lead going to the control cavity follows the channel milled into the guitar. So you would turn the pickup so the wire/lead exits the pickup directly into the channel, thus making your pickup face the right way. So... for the bridge pickup the wire/lead would exit the pickup at the bottom. For the neck, at the top. Easy.

Regardless of guitar, then, the bridge pickup should be turned so the wire/lead is at the bottom of the guitar. And the neck at the top.

Unless your pickups were for some reason wired differently.

Website says the Aftermath is symmetrically wound, which I think means both coils are wound the same. Since the pole pieces are the same, it won't really matter how you install it.

I remember asking Tim at BK and I think that's what he said .....It doesn't matter...Personally I would wire it the way shown in the Les Paul picture above.

Try it both ways. You'll like one better than the other theoretically...

Not if both coils have identical winds and pole pieces. They should sound the same however oriented.

Have fun trying to fit the pickup over the wire running beneath it....

Point being, with most guitars, you don't have a choice.
