hey guys I have always been interested in this breakup, as it is never super saturated and can be colored by drive pedals.

I have recently discovered I love my twin reverb on 10, but obviously I have to be in the other room to avoid going deaf. I have a prri, but it simply is very fizzy in comparison,

I am perhaps looking at a deluxe, but was wondering if anyone had some clips of a strat/humbucker guitar dimed through one

I just am curious about the similarities between super/princeton/deluxe/twin breakup

I don't own a BF fender or a reissue, but I've played a lot of them in and out of band situations.

IME, what kind/size speakers plays huge in the sound of the breakup of these things. Which is why I prefer Fenders with 10 inch speakers to 12s. I think that might be the difference you're hearing in reference to your twin vs. princeton. So a deluxe might work for you.

I think changing to better iron (Mercury Magnetics comes to mind) and changing the speaker will really make you love the way it breaks up a bit more.

An attenuator can't hurt either. The Weber Mass 150 works great (I own one).

that is the thing though, I love how my twin breaks up, I might be better of getting a deluxe, but I am not sure how similar the breakup characteristics would be

I apologize! I missed the abbreviation for the princeton reverb and thought you were still talking about the twin.

I have a friend who owns a Deluxe and loves it to death. I think it would be a smart move to own one. ;)
