Blocked Trem Vs. Hardtail

Has anyone owned an American Strat with the Trem blocked & also owned an American Hardtail Strat? What are the Tonal Differences between blocked & Hardtail?

I own both. The two hardtails have a brighter attack than my trem equipped ones. I don't have the trems blocked with a spacer of any kind, but they are decked with 5 springs. All my Strats have Graph Tech saddles, not sure if that impacts the difference in any way.

I can't speak from experience in a USA hardtail, but I have my Strats decked with a big brass block and the block turns it from 'ehhh' to 'ahhh' worth the cash IMO.
