OK, so its obviously a Dumble clone (and by the looks of it, they are trying to go for that individual amp thing that HAD was doing...)

I was just wondering if anyone in here has had any experience with this company?

Cheers.

Pretty sure you will find much more info on Bludo at The Gear Page. It's quite a bit more popular there.

Yep tons of Bludotone owners over at TGP. I don't know of anyone on here who owns one

Thanks.

Will have a wee gander. My Dumble clone GAS is peaking!!! I hate when this happens...

I think it's because I am positive that if I do get one, I will DEFINITELY sound like Robben Ford!

Well, Brandon - the guy that builds bludos is making quite a name for himself with his amps (if that sorta thing is what you need) but I've also been told by an RT member / buddy of his that he builds smoking high gain stuff too. I don't think he's doing the "sound like Robben Ford" mod any longer as that is so last week....heh. If its Dumble clone gas you've got, I would strongly suggest trying a Ceriatone version for about $1000 to see if its really what you want to do. May be easier to get than a Bludo where you are. Just sayin...

I would also recommend a Carol Ann. No Dumble clonage but straight up tone machines that will put you in Robben Ford territiory if needed. They've got their own tone going and will have have a shade more teeth. No contest on the cleans - Carol Ann by a longshot. I'm basing this on the Carol Ann's I've had and the Ceriatone ODS I had. FWIW - I've still got the Carol Ann.

But yeah, Bludos seem to be working for Larry Carlton and a few prominent others. No reason they shouldn't work for mortals too ;)

I have played a bunch of Bludos, one of my friends just got one.
And I have played one next to 3 of the "real" things... The Bludotones are far more there than the offerings by other companies I have played (though I have not played the C-Ann or the Ceriatones). I am not into those tones myself, but Brandon's amps are smokin.

Brandon is supposed to a make a medium high gain Marshall type amp for me me when he gets the chance, I am sure it will be killer.

He is a really great guy in person and takes the time to make the amp want you want, I have sent several people his way (he's local) and everyone has been uber happy with what they got.

Hope this helps
