I have a straight Bogner 4x12 right now and want to get a full stack. Should I go for another straight of get the slant.

Everybody will probably have differing opinions about this, but I prefer the straight cabs myself. But only because I have the cabs separated, and not on top of each other. I have owned both, and maybe it is in my head, but I prefer the way the straight cabs project better than angle cabs.

I was merely speaking of the slanted cabs having a different angle for the top pair of speakers, as opposed to having all four speakers "punching" the back of your legs when playing loud, with the cabs on the floor. I am just a 40 something year old guy that is "stuck in his ways" after years of doing things MY WAY

You're thinking of the Marshall type slanted 4x12 where the two top speakers on the baffle are slanted - the 1960A.

Diezel and Bogner "tilt" the complete baffle ever so slightly.

I also prefer two straight cabinet side by side. Sounds huge this way.

Have always preferred the look of straight cabs... and when it come's to a "stack" I still prefer two straight cabs side by side with the head in the middle of them, that to me just looks completely menacing... always thought a full stack looks fucking retarded...

I prefer the straight... but the slant is less directional and throws the sound around more in different directions.

Thanks thats what I want. I don't care what looks better. I want the sound to be less directional.

I prefer slants in 1/2 stack settings. In full stack setting I like one straight and one slant.

If talking about only one cabinet on the floor, i like the slant, because i prefer hear the sound directly from the upper speakers.

I prefer slant as they seem to disperse the sound throughout the room better. Otherwise you end up with all the sound blowing by your knees.
