A pic of my rig I used for a recent gig. Was in the middle of setting up so the mic's weren't set up. The rack with switching and effects was at the back.

No idea. There is one in the UK at the guitarguitar dealer with the metal grill. Think its the last one for sale in the UK. I fancied getting the wheat grill but didn't realise its only salt and pepper grill now apparently. Something about the wheat grill being banned??

The supplier of the metal grill to Bogner upped the prices to a point that made it impractical to use and angered RB et al in management.

Because the supplier who stamped these things out started upping the price, and due to the fact most people really weren't into the upcharge over cloth, they simply stopped including it as an option. I believe somewhere along the price hike also came the supplier's closing shop (inevitably).

If someone was stamping those out they were copying the Diamondback design, which is still available. I don't know who Bogner's vendor was but McNichols is one of the big suppliers of this type of material.

New metal grill Uber's are still available, but only regular models not TJ's. They must be limiting them to that specific model for whatever reason....

I actually have a metal grill stashed from a previous amp purchase (long since moved) still around, it's a nice Bogner memento.

Yeah the Uber i had had the meal grill such a beast of an amp. Bogner XTC and Ubers just look right with the metal grills IMO

Nice rig....I agree, always loved the metal grill option...unfortunately my 101b had the cloth.
