Bogner helios 50 later production?

Have heard some of the helios issues ie no footswitch, pop with effect loops when engaging pedals and noise...

I wonder whatz up with the new production on the helios? I know it now comes with footswitch and does it still have the annoying pop when pedal in effect loop ?

Or and other pops when switching clean to dirty or any other pops when toggling the switches?

Am planning in getting a helios as i like the raw tones of it and it also handle blues rock well... any good reviews now on the later helios production ?

The only issue the Helios had was user error
look to our long thread about the 50 and note the OP kept very quiet after pressing the dealer for a replacement

You can make a perfect amp but you can't stop folks using it as a toaster

I picked up a Helios 50 from the first batch when they were released
No issues with rack or pedals, and great tones

Cool !! You must have enjoy the sweet tones out of the helios !...

Well just to ask if this helios be possible to dial out mercyful fate tones? Or can it be heavier to do old school death metal tones ?

I heard a clips done by someone over at youtube playing metal with the helios and it sounded so damn sick ! So organic sweet fat and not shrill.... i have no idea if youtube i heard is a true representation of the helios...

I bought recent build from SW which had no issues & came w FS.
Apparently there was some legitimate noise issues w some early builds but all seems good now.

Thanks buddy ! The raw metal tones is what it got me interested in this amp... and am sure it can do blues and jazz cleans too huh....

I've owned literally dozens high end amps including many of big names.
Helios 50 is probably my fav for straight up tone.
Not as versatile as many true channel switchers, but fantastic nonetheless.
