I sold it to Steve from Buffalo NY. He had it for many years and only recently sold it here in the RT classifieds.
It's a great sounding amp. It's the blue channel of the XTC in a 50w format.
Cheers,
Mike

Im sure its a great amp and Bognermaniac is a good dude but I can't help but wonder why one would get this amp for the same price as a used XTC. Does the blue channel sound any better then the xtc blue??
Certainly LOOKS cool.
FortinAmps":1ba62q0z said:I only paid $250 for that mod back in the day and the amp I got in a multi trade for other gear. Very little out of pocket expense initially.
The main difference between this amp and the XTC is that is does not have that smeared sound image which gives the XTC it's signature tone which I believe is in the XTC's OT design.
So if love that slower chewy sound image of an XTC, you might not like this Bogshall. If you dig the XTC tone but wished it didn't have the blurriness, then this amp might be for you.
Cheers,
Mike

That's what makes ms wonder why someone would buy it for 1900. Seems like it would be a great, great amp for $900-1k maybe. I just don't get why someone would pay $2k for a one channel amp.
I do think it would be great to have a drier, less forgiving blue channel. But not at the expense of 2 other channels.
All that said, if money was no object for me I'd love to add this to my Bogner collection. Very cool piece. Nicely done on getting Reinhold to do that mod!
