Wow exact facelift tone...
I know, it's perfect! Sounds right in between an Uber and an Ecstasy. I have the worst gas ever!

Doesn't sound that special to me ...
Listen to the recent "High Gain Shootout", lots of amps that do this kind of tone.

Yeah, but this one has that Bogner "thickness" that I love, but its more defined and focused. There are many amps that sound like many others, but something about this one stands out to me. It's thick and juicy, tight and complex.

It could just be the mood I'm in today too. Some days I think a Deizel Einstein is the end all amp for me, and other days I want more of a thick, juicy sound. Man, being a tone snob sucks

robb on this forum has a great sounding Bogner modded Marshall. Does Bogner do mods anymore?

Nothing you can't get with any of the other modded Marshalls, imo.

I tried a Bogner Marshall when I lived in L.A. that his studio musician guy owned.
It was probably the warmest best sounding one I had heard.

The only thing that kept me from buying it was Bogner had put more switches and knobs on the back and front
than an F-15.
I figured I would wind up turning knobs more than playing.

That sounds cool, and Todd's playing is sick as always! but im pretty sure that you could come very close to that with other amps/modded Marshalls!

It's just that sweepingly simple, eh? May as well just throw a pedal in front of a stock Marshall then.
