Agreed.
Their comments on PANAMA:
"The voicing was signature Bogner—aggressive, yet smooth and highly dynamic with a heavy nod to high gain British voicing. As I moved from riffs to melody lines, the amp reacted in tandem, breathing out and allowing each note to bloom and sustain with great clarity."
"If you’re looking for searing high gain with a British accent at manageable levels, it’s hard to beat the Bogner Panama. The amount of detail and clarity in the tone is stunning, even if there aren’t a lot of clean tones or headroom"
Buy if... detailed, low volume high gain rock tones are what the doctor ordered.
Skip if... you’ve just got to have clear clean tones.
Their comments on BRIXTON:
"For a lot of players, the Bogner name is synonymous with thick, aggressive overdrive tones, and the Brixton is certainly no exception. This amp is a fire-breathing monster..."
"For high gain tone aficionados, the Bogner Brixton is a sure winner. The quintessential high gain tone Bogner is famous for is here in spades"
Buy if... you need unbelievable high gain tones that record well in the studio.
Skip if... chimey, unspoiled cleans are an absolute must.
It's practically the same damn review. Why didn't they do a back to back comparison, and point out some details? So far the only difference I know about them is that one is 4 watts and one is 12.
