So I played in two different bands (though same guitarists) at the musician's institute holiday party on sunday. Took my pedalboard and used my new bogner red pedal into the clean channel on a fender hot rod combo (I think it was only the deluxe but might have been the deville, might be able to tell from pic). Honestly didn't really feel like I was missing much of anything compared to my regular bogner 1/2 stack rig (yes, combo was mic'd of course). Wasn't noisy at gig volume and am taking it to rehearsal tonight with another band. All in all I'd have to say I'm pretty impressed with this thing. Got it to try and replicate my regular rig tone as close as possible when playing backline or combos and it seems to do exactly that just fine. I'm the guy with the 335 ;)

Looks like a great time. I am currently GASing for a bogner red and an ES335. :)

cool, looks like a fun show! Is that Lenny you're jamming with?

You really couldn't go wrong with either IMO :D

Very cool, I take reviews from someone that has owned a bogner a lot more seriously than someone who just heard clips online. Looks like Reinhold has hit one out of the park. :)

Looks like a good time. Thanks for the Bog review, your'e not helping my gas any. :D
Have you tried the blue pedal yet?

Not yet, but am afraid if I do I'll prob buy that one too lol... which I will prob end up doing in the long run. That said I find the red pedal cleans up really well with the volume knob fwiw.

Red pedal plugged into the blue channel set to plexi mode on my xtc classic and a/b'ing to the red channel I was able to probably cop 90% of the tone, though that's subjective. But I really don't think I could get closer to my rig with a pedal, it's doing exactly what I wanted it to so far

I demo'd a Red pedal into the clean channel of a HR Deluxe at GC. I set the controls exactly how I set my Ecstasy Classic and have to admit, I was surprised just how close it really is!!!

Dude.....HOB with Christmas decorations and a Bogner pedal and a long haired guy rocking a 335 is metal. I don't care what anyone says.

Thanks for the review!

Good to know. I miss my XTC Classic sometimes and have been pondering picking up a Red and/or Blue just to have something close around.

BTW... I'd like to make some sweet music with a few of those chicks on the mic. :inlove:
