Not to hijack or anything, just wanted to share the Bogner Red love, lol (just got one). Here's a quick test jam I'm working on (already had the WIP tune layed out - so I fooled around with the new pedal and my Tweaker head to find a decent lead tone that would sit well enough here). I'm considering taking the Tweaker 40 back though and nabbing a Stiletto Ace Head (that has supposedly already been slightly modded) and using it for pedals and cleans. Anyways...

I had to login just to tell you that sounds absolutely fantastic, man! Never would have guessed that was a pedal if I didn't know any better

D-rock just poke-in' fun, the red pedals are real nice sounding in the you tube clips

^^ Dude that sat really well in your mix.....really dug the lead tone. Nice job!
Thanks! I hate saying it, but I really did just dial that lead tone in on day one with both the amp and pedal. I was at Satan Center sampling the Red and figured I'd run it through an Eggy - why not, thery're right there ya know, and they do have great clean channels. Anyway...I took both home, lol!! The Tweaker 40 has a good bit of options, can't wait to actually fool around with it more (with the pedal as well of course). Guess I need to read the manual next!

Thanks man!! It's a beast, truly is. People like to toss around the term 'game changer' when referring to amps and those new fangled amp-like devicecs, etc, but for me personally, this Bogner Red pedal (never tried the blue but I hear it's incred as well) IS. I admit I haven't tried them all, who can, but yeah, NEVER had a gain pedal like this before, it's so transparent, PUNCHY, reacts to your touch, gobs of character, etc, etc, all while sporting this much saturation (the gain was dimed in the clip and the boost engaged). Just the perfect amount of tight/sponge, dynamics and gain for lead tones for my tastes. And it's a pedal?! KEEPER. (=

Good god......now I have to go and check my tracking #....getting hyped here.....never been this excited for a pedal before...

^^Oh yeah, sorry, but to your original thought - I had a 6505+ several years back and I remember it did have some good, jangly cleans in there, in fact, I know it did (though I think I was using single coils at the time). If you're getting something similar from your 6505, you oughta be able to get the Red to jive well with it. Good luck!
