I just got mine with my new American standard are you guys running it in front of the amp?

I dont know about that. I'm using a 5150 with a couple of dirt pedals into the front of the clean channel and it sounds great. Right now I have a Carl Martin AC Tone and Plexi Tone, Wampler Pinnacle, and Bogner Red.
I can see using a clean boost in the loop but not a distortion pedal...
