Bogner Rev2 through Uberkab (v30-Greenback)...Brutal Death M

just working on this semi-old-school death metal band...
Guitars are all Bogner....Rev2 Überschall (EH 6ca7 in power amp) through Bogner Uberkab (v30 and Greenback in X-Pattern)...a single sm57 on one of the v30 as well as on one of the Greenbacks....I thought you might enjoy the brutality this German-Californian delivers:
 
Finally a accurate clip of how brutal the rev2 vs the newer uberschalls. Thick, organic, growl, bite without the fizz and sizzle and high pitched noise. It is my choice for a marshall type down tuned guitar. The Splawn Nirto, Diamond Nitrox and Friedman Naked are close comparisons as well.
 
Nice. Would have liked a more mid orientated mic on the Greenback tho. R121 or a u87.. 414 maybe.
 
Very awesome. :rock: I like that speaker combo better than the V30/75 combo.
 
So do I, the v30 and greenbacks are a great match.
More mid oriented than a 57?
There's no such mic:)
 
This is why the Ubers became coveted. I hear other clips and it's like they don't know how to dial the amp in. Great job. :rock:

Originally I played an Überschall before an Ecstasy, and I actually remember liking it more. When dialed in, they just crush.
 
Very nice. Do you remember the settings? How are you liking the 6CA7s vs. KT88s?

great clip, i love the tone.
ubers are one of my favorite amps, i been playing them for the last 8 yrs and i go back and forth with it and the herbert as my favorite.
i played my ubers live for a few years and was very happy with them in a band mix, i mostly always use a od808 as a boost.
