Are any of these handwired? I owned a 20th Anny head and it was PCB, sweetwater has one listed as handwired, can't find anything on Google or bogner website of turret board. From what I read in Bogners site it's a debate and seems he preferred PCB unless I am dyslexic. Any information or gut shots would be helpful. Thanks

Nope all PCB, looks like they have all the combos listed with "Handwired" in the titles. They are hand assembled amps but the boards are PCB's been that way always except maybe the modded Marshall's he use to do...

Thanks for the info, seems handcrafted in the USA translates to handwired for marketing purposes, lol. Wth, I can't figure that out. What happened to false advertising, Sweetwater sales engineers hard at work" whatever the F that means. Lmaool. I loved the 20th Shiva I owned so I don't care if it was wired with telephone wire, sounded Fn badass but I never saw any documents saying it was handwired.

Dude your in Charlotte NC.. same here. Cool!

I don't think it's necessarily false advertising. A lot of people (including myself at one time) confuse handwired with PTP (point to point) and think they are the same thing. PCB can be handwired. PCB is much more consistent tone wise if you are mass producing amps but many of the "boutique" companies still handwired the components onto the PCB. Like you are saying the 20th Shiva sounds bad ass, you could grab another one from another year with the same tubes and it should sound dang near identical due to the PCB.

Maybe handwired has different meanings per amp. I guess a ss state amp is handwired if one is being literal. I thought turret board was usually defined as hand wired. Guess we need a global definition. Is a fiberglass PCB really something people think of when you say " hand wired" ? at least the Friedman build has a hybrid it seems..Really just looking for info on a handwired Bogner , meaning not a fiberglass circuit board in the guts. Makes no difference but I want to know if it exist

Unreal same here! Reliable is greatly missed! I can't imagine what that would be like now with all the pro choice gear on the market. Big Al coolest dude ever! :) all the people working there really.

I know what you mean. To me handwired would also mean turret board, PTP style but by manufacturing definition handwired seems to mean soldered by a human. I think the only handwired Bogner is the Helios. It might have the hybrid thing like most Friedman's.

Thanks for all the help guys:) it is appreciated
