Went to my favorite Atlanta store and after trying the two above decided the clear winner was.....a Marshall Origin 20 head...lol I'd been dancing around getting one for a long time, for fun and this thing just rips. Even though the Shiva got a great classic rock rhythm tone, didn't care for the higher gain on it and the Uber is just not my thing I guess. The Marshall was just so versatile with changes of the knobs and couldn't get a bad sound out of it and the Shiva could go from great to meh with one knob nudge in either the EQ or gain knob. Considering the price difference it was a pleasant surprise that the cheap amp was the best choice, no matter the cost. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to scratch that plexi itch and not spend too much.
