I still want your Rev 2 Leib :)

(actually that TJ was amazing with the actives as well)

Yeah dude, you guys' guitars sounded great through them. I didn't know the Rev 2 could do metal like that until you guys played it.

Very nice, Fluff!

I have a few of Andy's profiles as well. Great stuff!

:)

Very cool. The 6505 rig from Amp Pack 3 spits hot fire. Totally murders anything I used previously.

The sets of profiles that Andy did for the Diezel amps though are not as good. Don't get me wrong...they aren't awful or anything like that.....but, just not quite there compared to some of the others I have bought from him. I've owned an Einstein, a Herbert and was loaned a VH-4 for several months. The ones I downloaded from him were not happening, unfortunately. In fairness to him though, he isn't a heavy player, so to speak. He has done a great job with the others that I have purchased from him and I'll continue to get a few more. It saved me a lot of time instead of borrowing and profiling a few friends amps.

hmmm, not sure i agree with that one. I DO NOT have his herbert profiles, so I can't comment on those, however some of the herbert profiles on the rig exchange are fantastic, so no worries there. I have his VH4 pack, and thought it sounded great, maybe not uber heavy sounding, but I definitely thought the tones sounded great for sure.

fluff sounds great man, I never liked the uber for some reason, but this sounds great. the uberschall has always been that amp I've "wanted" to like, know what I mean? People either love it or hate it. Something about the bogner high end just doesn't agree with me for some reason. your clips sounds KILLER for sure though. don't get me wrong, the uber always seems to sound great when added to a mix.

Andy is supposively doing a metal pack as I'm sure some of you are aware, really excited about this, this should be a big hit, his packs keep getting better and better. That 6505 from pack 3 is absolutely insane. Both the TS profile, and the "scoop" profile record great, and CRUSH with FRFR live, I can affirm that FOR SURE!!!!

Yeah ya know I have never actually played a real Uberschall, but all the models and sims are SUPER fuzzy which I cant stand. Can an Uberschall really sound this smooth? Cause if it can I want one!

i had one of the oldddddd ones, back around 03 or so, the ones with the green light, not the blue that comes with them now (is that right? I think so, i know green is much much older) and it didn't have the weird high end that I don't like, but I could never get it near tight enough for my liking, and this was before i knew about boosting amps etc ( I was 16) the generally tone I really dug, but the looseness could not be dialed out for the life of me. None of the new ones I really liked how they sound, the general tone of the old one I had I thought was much better, and the lead tone was definitely fantastic, love the bogner "sweet singing tone" for leads.

Also: hence this is the reason I haven't bought the uber profiles from andy yet, because I've never had much success with the amp. Hell I don't even like his sound clips of it personally, but yours definitely sounds great!

Like I said, if you boost it as strongly as it came across in your recording it definitely is a joy to play and sounds amazing, even at low levels. That being said, I really am not a fan of the Uberschall for playing any sort of metal riffs when it isn't boosted. It isn't tight by itself at all. More like a hard-rock/grunge amp.
