I just think it’s so cool how he emulates the chugging guitar. It gets kind of buried in the mix and I never noticed it. And what great tones coming off those skins

Read a lot of interviews with the guys who recorded him and they all said
that unlike most of the rock drummers of that era, he really knew how to tune his kit.

Yeah, lots of stuff going on there. His son Jason is a monster player too. Saw Jason in the 90’s playing Zep. They were amazing.
