Boosted the Crunch Channel of my 6505+

Boosted the Crunch channel of my 6505+ with a Joyo Vintage OD.
Sounded great. Anybody know of a mod to get more gain on the Crunch channel so I don't have to boost it?

Check out FJA mods. Jerry seems to be the go to for 5150/6505 mods. There's great clips of his work floating around and on his site.

You're in CA so definitely take a look at Kruse- he's in your backyard and his work is awesome. I have my EVH 50w and a DMoll from him and the modifications slay

I saw what Billy said on the other forum and I agree with continuing to use an OD boost to give you options, but having an extra gain and volume knob on ch1/2, power scaling/2nd Master, SuperCharge mod....all that stuff from Kruse is excellent!

The clips of those mods sound pretty good. If I keep it, I'll probably go that way. Looks like Billy is going to buy the amp.
