i have been hearing a lot lately about jon r. hill's, new guitar company, bootleg guitars, out of cleveland, ohio. apparently they have been making some beyond amazing products at a fraction of the value of a comparable product....i decided to check his site, http://www.bootlegguitars.com and saw some amazing stuff. when i figured out that bootleg is the new company from the guy who has been making hill guitars for 28 years, i realized what was up.......i decided to take a chance and plunk down some serious cash for one of his guitars and when i got it, it changed my life. sometimes in life it is worth it to buy american and buy the best. i deserve it cuz i totally rock................

i just started following him on twitter @bootleg_guitars, and on facebook. omg, these axe's are magic............i guess that is why so many pro's use them, lol............

LOL!

Freudian slip?

I too have heard of these Magical guitars.
Someone once told me that all you have to do is plug them in........they play themselves.
No need to even hold it. Just pull up a chair and watch these babies throw down some riffs!

For that price it'd have to do that, and my taxes!

What guitars are you guys looking at? The ones I see are about $1600 and look like typical guitars in that range... I don't get the joke. Has anyone played one? The only near 3k one I see is the Scotti Hill sig and well that is a sig. I can't comment on the quality of the guitars since I haven't played them or seen them in person, but they seem to have quality parts including brass blocks on the Floyds, titanium saddles and other such stuff many of you use. There also seem to be many other guitars that have custom paint and stuff. Is there something else I am missing? Can someone link it?

I can't speak for the guitars but I think the text I quoted is hilarious. I loves me a drive by spam thread when language is butchered.

i got to meet john at the columbus guitar show in june, He had one of the scotti hill guitars there it played and looked great. John is a super cool guy and will take the time with any questions you have.

Out of topic, but I saw Scotti Hill twice, playing with Skid Row, and he is a fantastic player with an amazing stage presence.
I really like their two first albums.

Hey Bootleg shill,
which guitar is this one that I see in the background on the site but I don't see it in the list of products?

This looks like it may be the same body style.

Billy Morrison, used to tour with Warrant, is a local player around Cleveland. I saw one of his bands play and he was playing one of these. Although I didn't know what it was at the time.
