So a few years ago (10 or so) i stopped in at the local music store, grabbed a Gibson Les Paul Classic - Gold Top, plugged into the Boss display/tower demonstration thing, played through a blues driver pedal which sounded weak until i hit the autowah pedal. Cool fucking sound/tone to say the least. I have purchased said pedals but i have not been able to recreate that moment/tone, (without the Gibby :().

What the hell was going on? This has stay'd with me and i need to end this insanity.

RT has to know the answer...

For some reason the autowah made the bd come alive. No wah going on just a cool boosted/overdriven tone.

Have you tried boosting the BD? Might have been what was happening and what pickups? The LP might of had hotter pups then the guitar you are currently using.

I used a friends T-Wah back in '89-'90 and finally had to buy one again because of what I remember of it. I have had it for about 3 months now and still enjoy it. I really do not know why they discontinued it.

All i know is it sounded really cool. Just the BD/Autowah and the Les Paul classic with 498/500t pickups.
