Boss DD20 vs DD 2,35,6,7

So, I've been looking deeply into different delays, and the Eventide Timefactor is out of my budget, also I've decided on digital delay, I may pick up an anologue later on if I feel I need it, 300ms isn't enough really.

So, if the DD20 has presets and so on and a larger range of options, with only a small increase in price, why should I buy a DD 2,3 etc over a DD20?

I haven't been able to AB all of them, but I like the DD20 and the DD6/7 about the same.

I dont know of any downfalls of the DD-20 except price, size, and power. If those dont bug you, I am not sure of any other negatives over their normal sized pedals...

The DD20 is a fantastic delay pedal, and every bit as good as the Time Factor and Nova Delay. Like someone else said, power could be an issue for you as it's one of the TWIN series pedals, requiring a PSA type power adapter (the Voodo PP2P works fine if you have a big pedalboard).

You can run a DD20 on batteries, 8 AA I think. I use a power supply with mine, and it's terrific.

I use a 10 way 9v power supply but I'm looking at getting a Voodoo Labs PP. Although it wouldn't be too much hassle to buy an 18v power supply. Size isn't an issue.

Thanks for the input man. My only problem is spending £30+ on a PSA.

I power mine off of a normal pedal power supply with no issues.

I love my DD20. I set mine to the analog mode. Sounds killer.
