I love the Boss OC2 Octaver but I have to use a looper to minimize tone loss. Is there anything else out there that sounds as good and is "True Bypass"? Maybe a buffer may fix it? Any experiences with this pedal?

Yeah I saw this. There's also the issue on the Boss pedal being noisy. So I guess I'm looking for an alternative pedal.danyeo":1p3gotmv said:

I think Zvex makes an Octaver type pedal. It might be an octave-up fuzz though, not sure... That dude makes some excellent stuff!

I tried a Foxrox not my thing, too digital/metallic sounding, I bought a Modtone not my thing either. Trex Octavius looks good, I have a Trex Reptile delay and really like it, but I'd prefer something smaller that runs on 9v DC. 8 Ball sounds pretty good.
