Anyone know of a true bypass mod parts I can get for a Boss Octaver pedal?
That's ok, is there a kit?Marshall Law":2niu4gc4 said:there is not enough room in a boss pedal for the switch, you would have to put it in a different housing
I never seen those beforeRockStarNick":pdirj8hr said:http://jackdeville.com/clickless-system/cltb

The Boss Octave pedal sounds fantastic enguaged but sucks tone in bypass mode, kills the top end. My obvious option is to use a looper but I'm trying to minimalize my board.D-Rock":3o1fsdwx said:Why do you want true bypass?
I'll go with a looper for now. I have a Boss Flanger with the same "Tone suck" issues, and I just happen to have a looper for an extra pedal. I don't have the Octaver ATM it should be arriving any day. I did own the same Octaver years ago and would unplug it for the songs I wasn't using it. I will post my findings with tone dropouts. Where in they chain do the normally run?D-Rock":wwco7ygt said:I would try repositioning the pedal in your chain first. A TB pedal won't help retain high end freqs. Especially if you have a somewhat long chain already. It will just cause the extra cabling to drain even more of your signal.
RockStarNicks looks like the best option so far. Other mods I have seen drill a hole in the top of the pedal for a TB switch.Caligulove":v2ed4cw1 said:I'm sure someone like Analogman or maybe Keeley can do a mod for that, right? Am I wrong?
