2017 BYOC Boss OD-1 clone with Raytheon RC3403AD quad op amp circuit pedal. I bought this pedal already built and it obviously was built by someone who knew how to solder and build pedals not a beginner. It has been built with component sockets on the clipping diodes, R5 and C3 sections so you can swap out components to your taste. Currently I have it with the stock diodes, stock .047uf capacitor and the 3.3K R5 resistor which gives it about 30% more gain than the stock value of 4.7K. They are easy to change out all you need is a pair of small needle nose pliers. Comes with all the stock value parts and mod parts, LEDS, 4.7K/3.3K resistors, .047uf/.33uf film capacitors. It has a Yellow LED and of course no paint to scratch or nick and it has a true bypass footswitch, can run off of a battery or AC adaptor.

From BYOC:
The BOSS OD-1 is becoming a very popular overdrive. Prices for the original OD-1 with the Raytheon RC3403AD chip have gone through the roof! The BYOC Yellow Overdrive is an exact clone of the very first version BOSS OD-1. It has the quad op amp circuit, not the dual op amp circuit with transistor buffers that the later versions have. The kit comes with the incredibly rare Ratheon RC3403AD chip that was used in the very first production run of the OD-1. We have a very limited amount of these chips. Once they're gone, we probably won't be able to get any more.
This is probably our easiest kit to build too. Here's some mods you might want to try:
1. Replace C3 and R5 with a .33uF film capacitor and 3.3k resistor. This will give it more available gain, restore low end, and a flat EQ response.
2. Replace the clipping diodes with two red LED's. This will give the overdrive a slightly crunchier texture and reduce compression. It will also add a little extra volume.

I've got the Green Pony and it is the best pedal I've ever heard in front of my 2204. If I didn't want to build the one you are selling, I'd buy yours.

Years ago I had a boutique Thunder Tomate OD-1 clone that had the NEC 14 pin chip in it and I did not like that pedal it was to smooth and not as crunchy to my ears this pedal with the Raytheon chip sounds much better. This pedal, is crunchy and rude more in line with what I like more in the vein of what you hear with Jake E Lee and his Boss OD-1. I already have a favorite Boss SD-1 clone pedal that I have had for years that I like and they are very similar in gain and tone so I am just moving some redundancy out the door.
