Bought some Suhr Aldrich pickups for my Les Paul

I love the Gibson pickups (500T/496R) in my standard, but I just wanted to try a different flavor. I'm hoping I dig these! From all the reviews I've seen I think I will.

I think you'll dig 'em! I have them in my Edwards Sykes LP Custom and they sound killer...

The only other pickups that make me giddy are the TV JOnes Filtertrons.

Well IMO Doug gets one of the smoothest neck pickup tones ever, and he has that Suhr pickup in his main Les Pauls now. So id say it can do that sound

Yeah he used the Suhr Aldrich pickups on the new Whitesnake - Good To Be Bad CD, Dio - Holy Diver Live DVD and CD, Whitesnake - Live In The Shadow Of The Blues CD.
