Went to a store today that I knew had the Silencer in stock. Wanted to try it just to make sure... Anyway, it was plugged into a Marshall 1987x (MK II). It was a red one. Don't know if its any different. It had a loop and voltage selector on the back.

I kinda regret not giving it a full run through, but had a Tele playing some drop D riffs. I am now terminally ill with GAS, and think that the Plexi is Gods way of improving my life 150%. It sounded so damn good.

I am lookin for the sound of the main rhythm guitars in my YT clip in my sig.

So... Is this is a case of if I really liked that tone, I should go for it, or are there better Plexis out there in that price range (1400 eur)? If not... Will I get that much more I I step up on the budget?

I already have the attenuator... I love that big open crunch, an smooth creamy lead. I need a Plexi. No doubt.

Thoughts are appreciated.

Why not? Plexi is a great amp

Sure as shit sounded awesome. I am just worried that as a Plexi noob I will buy the first thing that comes my way.
But it seems to be getting good reviews...

Anyone have experience with this model?
