thats freaking sweet, slash is one of my favorites.

I do remember the the thread discussing this, but it just makes it that much better that slash seems to be a decent guy, remembered you and gave you the credit.
 
Just got a text from Myles, they (Slash) launched their Euro leg of their tour yesterday in Lithuania. Myles is using the Diezel Schmidt and Herbert and said it sounded killer loud. Tomorrow night is Moscow!

Those guys put on a great show and in my experience are as real as it gets. :rock:

That's totally awesome, Brad!

Although I really prefer Myles' work with Alter Bridge, it's very cool that he has this gig with Slash going.
 
Brad, you bastid. Digging the new disc and of course Myles does the old stuff very well, but it's too bad they can't come up with a better name than 'Slash with Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators'. But, I guess it is what is. So when are Slash and Myles gonna join the Rig-Talk nation?

Slash is the greatest but he is technically challenged :D He gets help with twitter and the rest...

Myles said he knew about us, TGP and The Les Paul Forum. When your in the rock and roll hall of fame and one of the most recognized guitar players in the world with a one name following you stick with it. The new disc is killer but make no mistake about 90% of the people coming out to the shows are coming to hear Paradise City and Welcome to the Jungle. :rock:

This is so true.

I saw Iron Maiden just a few years ago, and on that tour they made a point to play like 2 songs off of EVERY album, even the dogs. Bruce asked the audience what they thought about that, and the audience was basically "Meh". Then he said, "You guys don't want to hear all those old songs, do you? (meaning the hits from the 80s). There was a resounding "YES!" from the audience. Bruce pretended like he didn't hear it :D
