Hello, I'm an experienced guitar player/amp user, and have owned attenuators before. I believe I have everything connected properly, but would like to confirm. I'm using a Friedman Dirty Shirley 40 watt head (no line out) and my goal was to use the Reload to record my amp signal into Logic Pro X into my iMac running OSX . I have the Torpedo Wall of Sound plugin activated and properly installed. I'm getting a signal into the computer and there is a fizzy sound to it. I have checked my clipping meters and everything seems ok on the Reload, and my audio interface is not clipping at all. I disabled the Power Amp sim and Compressor to bring the OUTPUT level in the Plugin to a "normal" level. Still sounds fizzy. Here is my setup:

1) Friedman Amp 16 ohm speaker out > Reload Speaker in 16 ohm
2) Loadbox Output > Audio Interface Input 1 > Apple Logic Pro
3) Guitar > Amp input

I have tried changing the impedance on the Reload & my amp, same thing. Fizzy sound.
I'm getting a fizzy sound even though I have ensured all my levels are not clipping. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Sounds like you have your input monitoring set to be pre any plugins.

Simple test, just instanciate something obvious like a delay and check. Depending on your interface and settings, we can help get this all to work 100% for you

Hi kelstervonshredster,

just in case, posting a sample of what you're hearing usually help us finding the issue. ;)
