Bring on the weird mids! QR SB25 test clip

Finally got around to recording the QR with my Splawn 4x12 loaded with SB 25's

I was struggling with the playing because I haven't really been playing much at all. So I'm kinda searching for the right notes. Often times, missing them

At any rate:
Charvel mutt with a Duncan Distortion straight to the QR. Rhythm is High input OD1, lead is Low input OD2. No boosts.
1 SM57
2 Rhythm panned hard right and hard left. Lead 1 track down the middle.

I agree awesome .and I dont get the weird mids at all.
They remind me of the Randall Scary mod I had .and little bit of that classic bounce or squish.
I really love the Splawn voicing and it is the mids

The Quick Rod is great. Only thing is once i got used to it,I find that when I play any other amp it sounds like there is a blanket over it to my ears.

It's a great amp, I had one for a number of years, but it REALLY shines with a Splawn 4x12 with those SB25s. I've never heard that amp sound better.

Yeah, I find I set things brighter on my other amps.
