My amp's midi has been acting up, so I sent Bruce an email about it and he sent me a new board no questions asked!

How's that for customer service! :thumbsup:

That's awesome. I don't know if I really believe all the negative posts about Eggie's customer service.......maybe these people just don't know how to contact them?? :confused:

Seems like it can be so hit or miss, based on the posts here. My experience has always been great! I am beginning to think you're on to something... :dunno:

There is definitely a problem. But it isn't about Bruce and his intentions. It's systemic- They need to have solider, dedicated system for this. I had a problem with mi iPod a while back. While it would have been thrilling to get Steve Jobs' attention to fix it, it would have also been utterly ridiculous. That's not what he is there to do.

I think the same thing with Bruce. He should be designing amps, and leaving this stuff to people whose full time job it is. Frankly, I think they need to hire and train some people. If he is going to go big, he has to go big fully. He can't be both big and small.

My two cents.

yeah, but once he goes big, he wont have time for stuff like the boards here, and whatnot.
more money/more monopoly = mo' problems.

personally, i hope i never have to call and talk to ANY customer service dept. but, if i do, it'd be nice to know that i might get bruce's attention with my needs. and to have them taken care of directly by him would be a real perk.
that's part of the reason i'm switching from boogie to Eggie. i dont want to feel like im part of an assembly line. i hope i dont with eggi.
